WENDY J. ENGEL, ASA, MAAA

Wendy Engel applies over 35 years of BOLI/COLI experience in her role as Senior Vice President and lead actuary. Known for her relentless pursuit of accuracy, she oversees MBSA’s policy administration and reporting. Wendy also provides invaluable analytic support during purchase and structuring engagements. She is co-inventor of numerous insurance and financial product-related patents, including new methods of funding non-qualified executive retirement plans and retiree health care benefit obligations, and risk mitigation and risk shifting innovations in the field of financial guarantees.

Previously, Wendy was Executive Vice President and Actuary of The Evergreen Group Incorporated, a wholly-owned affiliate of Hartford Life. She is an active member of Temple Shalom in Norwalk, Connecticut, and is co-President of the Norwalk Chapter of Hadassah.
