In February 2015, the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council approved revisions to the reporting of risk-weighted assets in Part II of Schedule RC-R of the Call Report. Notably, the revised forms and instructions reflected changes that were responsive to our initial comment letter. In publishing the revised forms and instructions, the regulators welcomed additional public comment.
We commented on the inconsistency of how general account portions of separate account BOLI products are treated under different schedules of the call report. We recommended an alignment of the reporting elements between the schedules. The regulators did not incorporate any additional suggestions brought forth from the comment period.
